Set in Limerick in 1968, this gritty drama draws from Ireland’s own dark past to tell the story of Jess, an American girl thrust into Ireland during the infamous days of Industrial Schools. When a sadistic Cruelty Man takes aim at the children of a Traveler family whom she has befriended, Jess takes matters into her own hands to recover the children…and unwittingly finds herself in a dangerous underground child trafficking ring.
For the Good of the Child, a narrative feature, will be filmed entirely on location in Ireland. Coming in 2019
